I'd love to know where the mom's t-shirt came from. No multiples, but planning for lots and besides that, a friend of mine has four under the age of seven and she's twenty-five and gets lots of nasty looks and staring - I bet she'd just love one of those!!

And for the record, it's not just mom's of multiples that hate that phrase "you have your hands full". My kids are fifteen months apart, my daughter (the older of the two) is not yet three and I'm seven months pregnant. I get stares at the kids and the belly and then that phrase that everyone seems to think you need to hear - either "you have your hands full" or "you're sure going to have your hands full". It's all I can do to just shrug it off and chuckle like they're the first person who has ever said it.

Thanks for this post. It really gave me a new perspective. I am pregnant with triplets. When people find this out, I get every negative and positive comment one can thin of. I am not naturally very outgoing. The thought of people continuously stopping me when I am out with babies already unnerves me. I am going to try to enjoy it instead of letting it stress me ou.
