Well, I am a SAHM of almost 3 yr. old identical twin girls - Abby & Emma. They were quite a surprise to us! At 17 weeks, I went for my "what are you having" ultrasound & saw 2! Not only was that a surprise but hearing the words - Monoamniotic & Monochronic - were surprises too!
They were born at 32 weeks. They are my "darling little handfuls"! I love staying home with them & talking with other twin moms. I would love to be considered as a voice for this group. Thanks for letting me share my story!

Been hanging around the site for a bit--what an awesome group of mommies!

Don't know if you are still looking for more voices for the choir, but thought I would throw my name in the hat. I'm the mama of eight, and the last two are the twins. They are b/g, 14 months old (where has the last year gone?), and as I told Shawn in an earlier post, twins have joyfully kicked our collective backsides after six singletons!

Couple of areas I thought might be of interest--one of our twins was recently diagnosed with neonatal stroke, which has resulted in weakness on her left side.
http://www.octamom.com/2008/05/in-her-right-mind.html

It has been an interesting season to have one twin already beginning her own journey and life experience in a way that is so different than her brother. I am blogging about the process of her physical and occupational therapy. It's the two hours a week that she is away from her twin.

The dynamics of a large family and the addition of twins also bring some unusual situations to mind. While we have more hands to help, we also have to maintain an incredibly flexible schedule due to the older kids' activities--something that has not been easy as I think closer scheduling of the twins would have made things a bit more manageable this year. However, some of the tricks of the parenting trade I picked up through the years have definitely helped in the addition of these two new little people...and maybe it could be of use to some mommies here.

We homeschool and for those moms who are curious about looking into that, I can provide an honest and encouraging look at the homeschool lifestyle, particularly when it comes to lots of little hands and lots of different learning styles. As with any choice we make, there are advantages and disadvantages to this educational choice, and it's not for everyone. Perhaps some of the things I learned along the way could help other moms determine what is best for their kids.

Would love to join you ladies as an added voice to the gropu. Thanks for an encouraging, helpful and honest site. The twin experience has been powerful, exhausting and expanding!

Don't know if you are still looking for writers... but if you are, I'd love to be a part of such a fun blog. I have twins, 4 years old, boy, girl, not identical. Of course they aren't identical, you say? Yeah. I thought the whole gender thing was pretty obvious too, but people still ask all the time.

My sister also has a set of twins... 3 year old boys, so there is a lot of twin talk in our family! I've been blogging independently for almost a year now and have loved the opportunity to stretch my writing skills and really work on developing a personal voice.

My blog: www.mommysnark.blogspot.com

I'm hosting a giveaway right now, though I don't normally do things like that... just couldn't pass up the opportunity to give away something as huge as a double stroller!

Hello wise and wonderful twin mommies! I'm writing to you now from an island in the Hawaiian chain known for its tsunamis, lava flows, constant earthquakes, dense jungles, towering volcanos, and (to my knowledge) 1 set of twins, my own 4 month old Lily and Maddie. Pristine sunny beaches and mommies of twins groups? Nope. That would be Oahu, 2 islands up :)

I like to write about family life and all the fun surprises raising twins/ raising twins in the jungle, provide. Late night feedings and dirty diapers, we were prepared for (kind of). Finding a foot long centipede by the crib, a lizard in our bed and a flying cockroach in the living room.......not so much.

Anyway, love your blog, and would love to be considered.

OH my god, there are more of us.....help how is it done???? My daughter will be 2 at the end of the month and my twins are 4 months (28weekers) so very tiny, heart alarms, thickened feedings-the whole nine yards. I think I'm going out of my mind somedays due to lack of sleep. I listen to first time moms of baby singletons complain about how much work it is and I want to bite heads off :) Tell me, how long before you stop crying when someone looks you in the eye and asks how your REALLY doing..Arggh

I just found this blog, and think it's terrific. I've been writing at http://perkyovary.blogspot.com for 2 years now, but just moved to http://chezperky.typepad.com.

I am a working mother of 9 month old triplets after infertility and a nearly-5 year old special-needs foster son. I'd love to contribute if you are still looking for more voices.

Hey ladies. Just stumbled upon this blog and would love the chance to add my two cents. I have 3 girls - Camdyn age 3.5 and identical twins Kiley and Reegan who are 17 months. In Kiley and Reegan's first year of life my husband and I relocated the family to Raleigh, NC from Boston, MA. I also quit my job as a full time marketing writer and struck out on my own. I'd love to share the antics of having 3 girls, trying to run my own freelance business by day while also being a stay at home mom - and then actually doing all the writing by night. Throw in trying to have a life of my own and you can follow my own crazy roller coaster ride. Thanks!

Hello! I thought I was the only one crazy enough for the 3 under 2 category, but sure enough - there are others!! I am currently getting ready to go back to work after staying home with my three boys...twins born 11/15/07 and my first son was born 7/1/06. I would definitely consider myself a realistic writer and I would love to contribute. It's so hard to not have anyone around who understands and I sincerely find comfort in reading others' posts who've "been there, done that". Thanks for consideration!!

I love this site! I wish I had found it sooner. What an amazing resource!
After a struggle with infertility I gave birth to GBB triplets born 12/11/07 at 31w4d. I enjoy being a SAHM way more than I imagined but I still struggle - STEEP LEARNING CURVE!!
I'd love to contribute - I am learning as I go and I don't mind keepin' it real. :)

I'd love to contribute to the site, if you'll have me. I'm the Mommy to BGG triplets who will be two in July. I am mostly a SAHM, but I also work out of the home two days a week when my husband stays home with our trio.

I have a BA in English, and an MA in Professional Writing.

I'm a recovering stroller addict, first time Mommy, and I recently found out I'm a Mommy to at least one child with a peanut allergy.
